Gregory Lee's Wedding – Part 1

Well, we got there…

Back in 4H, I learned that "Well, we got there" was the proper way to start just about any speech.  That was about the only thing I learned besides "When showing your steer in front of the grandstands at the county fair and lightning and thunder crack nearby, let go of the damn halter rope."  Good thing that lesson wasn't learned the hard way.

Friday, I left for Indiana after work.  I had spent some time working with Google maps and worked out a great route that it told me was only going to take me 5:41 minutes.  I promptly left those directions on my desk.  But other than farting around in the far south suburbs trying to get over to US-41 while not sitting in traffic forever, the drive went smoothly.  There was road construction at Dad's favorite spot in Vincennes where you are supposed to get on the bypass, so I wonder how that went for him.

Wedding-TinkerbellLanded at Mike's about 10:45, not bad time, really, considering I didn't get my car out of the parking garage until 5:22.  There seemed to be about 5 cars in his driveway, but initially, no signs of life except for "Tinkerbell" barker her fool (and massive) head off at me.
